Service

React web application development

Web applications in React and Next.js — customer portals, internal tools, dashboards and SaaS front-ends, server-rendered where the product needs it.

Built in
React · Next.js · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS

Our approach

How we build them.

  1. Most of what we build is an application rather than a website: something with accounts, data and state, where the hard part is keeping the interface fast and predictable as the feature set grows.

  2. We start with the data and the routes, not the pixels. Once the shape of the application is settled, the component library and the design follow it. That order is why the second and third feature take less time than the first rather than more.

  3. Where a product needs search visibility or fast first paint, we render on the server with the Next.js App Router. Where it does not, we do not pay the complexity cost.

What you get

Every engagement delivers this.

Written as things rather than intentions, so you can hold the list up against what arrives at the end.
  • Component architecture and design system setup
  • Server-rendered or statically generated pages with Next.js App Router
  • Typed API integration end to end
  • Responsive layouts tested on real devices
  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Production deployment and handover

Included

The engineering underneath.

Not add-ons, and not quoted separately. These come with the service because a project that needs them and does not get them is a project that stalls.
  • Performance and scaling

Profiling and fixing applications that have outgrown their original design, wherever the bottleneck sits — client, server or database.

    • React render profiling and re-render elimination
    • Bundle analysis, code splitting and lazy loading
    • Slow query and N+1 diagnosis
    • Caching strategy and read-path optimisation
    • Core Web Vitals and mobile startup time
  • CI/CD and release engineering

Automated pipelines so shipping is routine rather than an event, including signed builds for both app stores and staged rollout.

    • GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test and deploy
    • Automated iOS and Android builds with signing
    • Preview environments for every pull request
    • Staged rollout and rollback procedure

Start with a conversation.

Send us the problem, not a specification. We read every message ourselves and reply personally — and if we are not the right team for it, we will say so and usually point you to someone who is.
